John Doxey is the editor and publisher of Bay Area Summit, a quarterly newsletter for midlife and older adults. John currently works as a case manager at Curry Senior Center, a Department of Public Health-affiliated agency providing primary medical care, case management and other services to low-income seniors in downtown San Francisco. He has also worked as an assistant care manager with Eldercare Services, a Bay Area company providing geriatric care management and caregiving services, and he has worked as a research and marketing consultant on aging for the American Society on Aging, Civic Ventures and Mary Furlong & Associates. Prior to this, he worked as a reporter for the Associated Press and for Business Week magazine. John has a master's degree in gerontology from San Francisco State University, a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a B.A. in history from UC Berkeley.
